Speak-up system – Whistleblowing and deviations from staff and students

Which issues can you speak-up about and report at UNIS?

UNIS strive for a safe and engaging working and learning environment and need feedback from you to improve and to register damage, injuries or violation of UNIS rules or ethical standards.

UNIS have two different types of report systems:

  1. Whistleblowing – Reports to be submitted in whistleblowing form
  2. Notice of deviation – Reports to be submitted in Simployer Deviation System

Please see below for further information regarding the different forms of reporting.

Whistleblowing

Whistleblowing and breaches of working environment for students and staff, in accordance to the Working Environment Act, Chapter 2A.

  • Serious breaches of the working and learning environment regulations.
  • Harmful, dangerous, unethical or criminal offenses.
  • Bullying or sexual harassment.
  • Violation of research ethical norms.

Notice of deviations

For reporting all other incidents and irregularities that do not fall under whistleblowing, including matters related to safety, maintenance, environment, or daily operations.

  • Report all incidents that have or could cause harm to people, the environment and facilities, as well as violations of safety regulations.
  • Report deviations related to cleaning, outdoor space, waste or other daily maintenance work.
  • Report damages.
