UNIS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)

Health Issues

All students participating in UNIS courses must hand in a self declaration on his/her health condition.

A large part of UNIS’ activities includes field work which often takes place far from Longyearbyen and with limited access to medical assistance.

UNIS course participants have an obligation to report chronic conditions or other health related conditions, which could be of importance when it comes to accomplishing the most demanding field activities.

Below you will find a Pdf of such a self declaration. We ask that all incoming students fill this out and hand it in when they arrive at UNIS.
