In 2010 we had an excellent student team from Russia, Norway, Great Britain, Denmark and Germany exploring the mystics of ice ages and paleoclimate in western Spitsbergen. Weather was not too bad this year either. Thanks for great company, your enthusiasm, nightly polar bear watches and really interesting and challenging questions! The excursion is an essential part of the UNIS course “The Quaternary history of Svalbard”.
